About Cleo Tetrault, owner and registered massage therapist(RMT)
Cleo Tetrault is a Registered Massage Therapist in Comox, BC. She graduated from the Massage Therapy Diploma Program offered at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Toronto in 2012. She had a successful massage practice in Nova Scotia for three years and is a candidate for certification as a sports massage therapist from Nova Scotia. In those three years Cleo accumulated many sport massage hours with amateur and professional athletes through Acadia athletics and Nova Scotia sports events. Prior to her study of massage therapy she attended University of New Brunswick where she played varsity soccer and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management with a minor in International Business.
Cleo is new to the West Coast and the Comox Valley moving from Ucluelet, BC. Cleo moved to BC in Fall 2015. She brings a number of valuable skills to her practice with her completion of Schweitzer's deep tissue massage training, Trimester's course focusing on pregnancy massage and her extensive sports experience makes her very knowledgable of rehabilitation of acute and chronic injuries. Cleo has also developed a following for her treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction intra-oral treatments to help with TMJ pain. Cleo has also just become certified in IASTM (Instruments of Soft Tissue Manipulation). Cleo believes that Massage Therapy is an valuable component in maintaining your health and overall wellness. Her focus of treatment is on therapeutic massage therapy using a variety of techniques while still maintaining the clients comfort and providing overall benefit to her clients.

My aim as a massage therapist is to work alongside and empower my patients to achieve their health and wellness goals. Whether you're rehabilitating from an injury or in need of preventative massage treatments my goal is to help you move though life with more ease and freedom. I received my training at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy, in Vernon BC, and upon graduating in 2015 I moved to the Comox Valley to start my RMT career. I am now returning from travelling abroad and excited to locum at Panacea for 2 weeks! I have continued to fuel my passion for learning and the human body by completing a 200hr yoga teacher training and my level 1 Mat Pilates. I provide specific and effective stretching and strengthening elements tailored to your individual needs to assist you in regaining proper function and improving overall posture. See you in the clinic soon or out on the trails soaking in the beauty of the west coast forest, beaches and mountains.
about Jody Smith, Registered massage therapist (RMT)
Jody has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist in BC for over a decade now. She grew up on Vancouver Island where she graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2006.
Over the years, Jody has worked in a selection of high end spas and multidisciplinary clinics in Victoria and Vancouver. This experience has given Jody a unique style of treatment, blending therapy with relaxation. She treats a variety of conditions such as: repetitive strain injuries, motor vehicle accidents, chronic pain, headaches, stress and prenatal patients.
Through years of practice, Jody has developed a keen interest in women’s health and pregnancy. Her post graduate studies have focused on pregnancy, including the treatment of complicated pregnancies. Jody has an amazing pregnancy cushion so pregnant women may lay face down and feel supported and comfortable at same time! She has also spent time training in Lomi Lomi, a traditional Hawaiian massage style that uses hands, forearms and elbows in a flowing motion.
Jody believes that a multidisciplinary approach to treatment can find the best results and enjoys working alongside other healthcare providers.
In her spare time, you can find Jody spending time with her lovely little family, experimenting with a new recipe, making soap or in the garden.

About Stephanie Leslie, Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac)
Stephanie is a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia. She completed Pacific Rim College’s 3-year Diploma of Acupuncture program with over 500 hours of clinic training. She is also trained in orthopedic acupuncture, Tui Na (Chinese Massage), cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, electro-stimulation and auricular acupuncture. She has taken supplementary workshops in Acupuncture for Pregnancy, Labour and Postpartum, Women's Health, Fertility and Paediatric Acupuncture. She uses these additional treatment modalities to ensure that each patient receives the highest quality treatment possible. These holistic therapies help to strengthen the immune system, prevent disease, control pain, and improve quality of life.
Stephanie is a general practitioner with a special interest in women's health, obstetrics and pediatrics, including the treatment of fertility, pregnancy, post partum care and the wellness care and treatment of the many common childhood illnesses that pertain to children and their growth. In addition she treats a wide variety of conditions ranging from stress, anxiety, depression, digestive disorders, acute and chronic injury and pain management, sleep issues, immune system disorders, allergy management, and addictive behaviors.
Stephanie strives to maintain the holistic nature of Traditional Chinese Medicine by treating each patient as an individual with their own unique symptoms and circumstances. She is committed to the care of her patients. She seeks to translate the ancient wisdom and experience of Chinese medicine into modern practice where she is dedicated to the empowerment and education of her patients on their unique healing journey. She provides a place for you to cultivate wellness and reconnect with your body's innate healing capacity and welcomes all to her practice.
